just another thing i made to pass the time during my freshman year in college. my professor was talking about art using only dots. 
i forgot the term for it. 
this was during my tokidoki phase.
and yup, this is made ALL out of dots. no lines AT ALL. ^____^

the technique you are using in the drawing is called stippling or pointillism. Using dots rather than drawing lines to form picture. Very famous child's book called the Polar Express illustrations are all done in this form. Pictures are so impressive, look like photographs rather than a drawing done through dots. The artist and author's name is Chris Van Allsberg. (I think that is how he spells his name.) Book was made into movie with Tom Hanks doing all the voices of the characters in the movie.
